Two Left Foots

This was to help promote the group that taught me the two-step when I moved to Texas. They were looking to grow their lessons and needed more exposure.

This is a site for a friend that taught free dance lessons while she was going to school and later turned it into a side job when there was a strong following. I took advantage of the free lessons and repaid the favor by setting her up with this site that would generate interest for the lessons and private event bookings.

This is a one-pager that I did all the designs and all the lettering and hand coded. The content is basically imported from social media accounts for the group with some basic information for SEO purposes along with og meta tags. Links on the icons go to and ics event, google map and social media accounts respectively. There is a jQuery toggle to switch between a contact form and a newsletter signup. Photos are done by Dave Creaney of Austin, Texas.

Photos condense to a slick slider on mobile
All icons have a jQuery tooltip to show what the click function does. These download an ics file and link to a Google Map.

You can toggle between a contact form and a newsletter signup. Extra links for social media and photo credits.
